~ Bio ~

April Reppucci is a Los Angeles area  photographer specializing in lifestyle, portraiture and fine art photography. Her work has been featured in Popular Photography Magazine, The Beach Reporter and Washingtonian Magazine. She is a Getty Image Contributor and has had several of her prints on display at the Orange County Fair and Paul’s Photo. She was also interviewed by Fine Art America where she was the featured artist for the Artist Spotlight as a result of the success of her print sales. To view the interview, click HERE. She has also won several contests in the South Bay area as well as in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. April is a native Californian who grew up in Huntington Beach and currently resides in El Segundo with her husband Mike where she has had showings in numerous local Art Walks. Her son, Joey, graduated as a finance major from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania where he currently resides with his wife KC.

“Photography has an important place in my life thanks to my grandfather. He was passionate about taking pictures and would stop and take a picture anytime of anything and anywhere. Cameras, snapshots, and stacks of photo albums were a huge part of my childhood. One thing that stands out is that he would always tell us to slow down if he thought we were looking through pictures too fast. To him, photographs were stories. He wanted to make sure every part of the photo was noticed. He instilled in me the fact that the best retrospect can be found in the pictures you take."
